Mary graduated from University of Maryland in 1976 with a degree in Accounting. She started her career with the firm after graduation and has been practicing for over 40 years. She was an integral part in the growth of the non-profit audit specialization. She enjoys working with individual and business clients to provide the best business, accounting, and tax advice.
Mary served her profession and community in many capacities during her career. She was secretary, vice president and president of the Maryland Association of CPAs – Anne Arundel Chapter. She was treasurer of the Professional and Business Women’s Association of Calvert County, President of the Bayside Women’s Junior Chamber of Commerce. She served on the following finance committees and Board of Directors - BB&T Bank Advisory Committee, The Calverton School, Jesus the Good Shepard Church, Adult Day Care of Calvert County. She was a member of Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and American Women’s Society of Certified Public Accountants. She was awarded the YMCA Tribute to Women Award which honored women who have made significant contributions to their professions.
Mary has lived in Huntingtown, Maryland for more than 40 years. She has 2 grown children, John and Marcie and 3 beautiful granddaughters. She enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family as well as traveling, golfing and skiing.
